Anchored on to Don Bosco - Visit of DBNJ Past Pupils

September 12, 2023: We, at Don Bosco Navajeevan, Hyderabad was taken aback to see two handsome and energetic young men walk into Ramanthapur campus on September 12, 2023. As they were looking around the whole campus, a gentle smile and a glow on their face was noticed. Soon we realized that they were reliving the moments of their stay in the lap of DBNJ that had a profound impact on their character and personal growth. For a moment, they were listening to their own good old-time voices of fun and frolic, dance beats and the gentle corrections by the then caregivers. What a flash of memory down the lane!

This is the story of Mr. Farooq and Mr. Michael D’Souza who made use of every opportunity to nurture their dreams to be successful. Overcoming their difficult family backgrounds, vulnerabilities and emotional deprivations, they adopted DBNJ to be their new family and began to search for meaning, happiness and even more, a career path to success. The initial handholding by DBNJ made these two young men to live with dignity and earn with respect. Mr. Farooq lives in Austria working as DOP in western film industry and Mr. Michael lives in Belgium working as a manager in a German company. Their interaction with the present children in Ramanthapur and Bhoiguda homes turned out be very inspiring. We wish both success and good health. The tattoo on Mr. Michael’s hand speaks the rest…
